Prof. Mohamed Mustafa Lotayef Executive president, Egyptian Health Council, met with the Supreme Committee for Guidelines for the Specialization of Childhood Cancer Treatment to discuss the work plan and draw a road map for developing guidelines for diagnosing and treating childhood cancer. Prof. Alaa Mohamed Ali Haddad was chosen as Chairman of the Committee.
The committee is composed of:

• Prof. Imad Nabil Ishaq Obaid - Deputy Director, National Cancer Institute and Professor of Pediatric Oncology - National Cancer Institute - Cairo University.
• Prof. Eman Abdel Mokhles Sidhom Saadallah - Professor and Head, Department of Pediatric Oncology - National Oncology Institute - Cairo University.
• Prof. Mahmoud Hammad Mahmoud Hammad - Assistant Professor of Pediatric Oncology - National Oncology Institute - Cairo University - and Director of the Oncology Center at Nasser Institute Hospital.
• Prof. Youssef Madani Saeed Madani - Assistant Professor of Pediatric Oncology - National Oncology Institute - Cairo University - and Consultant in Pediatric Diseases and Marrow Transplantation at Dar Al Salam Oncology Hospital.
• Prof. Shadi Hassan Mohamed Mohamed Fadel - Assistant Professor, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University - Director and Head, Pediatric Oncology Department, Borg El Arab Hospital.
