Prof. Mohamed Lotayef participated in World Patient Safety Day under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, which was organized by the General Authority for Accreditation and Control in cooperation with the World Health Organization and the regional office in the Arab Republic of Egypt. His Excellency thanked the attendees, and praised the permanent and joint cooperation between all bodies and organizations that provide health services in Egypt, led by the General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control. He emphasized the role of the Egyptian Health Council in providing training in the latest international scientific programs for all health professions. This is done by adopting continuous professional development programs to raise the level of medical service providers. His Excellency stressed the need for graduates of medical colleges to obtain permanent training, and to attend scientific conferences and workshops approved by the Egyptian Health Council, and also through the training programs offered by the Egyptian Board (formerly the Egyptian Fellowship), and through an elite group of the best professors in Egyptian universities.
