On Thursday, October 26, Professor Mohamed Mostafa Lotayef Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, met with the Supreme Committee for the Qualification Examination to Practice the Human Medicine Profession at the headquarters of the Egyptian Health Council.
To discuss and determine the dates of the exams that qualify for practicing the profession in accordance with the law of the Egyptian Health Council, how to set the exam questions, and the time specified for taking the exam. The exam contains questions to measure the clinical skills acquired during the internship period, and a number of trial exams are held for training before taking the basic exam.
The committee is composed of:
• Prof. Ahmed Makhlouf, Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University.
• Prof. Walid Sami Youssef Muhammad, Professor of Internal Medicine and Vice Dean of the Faculty for Student Education, Tanta University.
• Prof. Sahar Mohamed Ahmed Hassanein, Professor of Pediatrics, Ain Shams University.
• Prof. Jihan Salah Sadiq Rizkallah, Professor in the Department of Parasitology, Menoufia University.
• Prof. Mona Ahmed Amin Soliman, Professor of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
• Prof. Nagwa Nashat Abdel Hamid Hegazy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine, Menoufia University.
• Dr. Shaima Abbas Hassan Hussein, lecturer in the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Assiut University.
• Dr. Najm El-Din Abu El-Naga Ahmed Ali, a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ihab Kamal, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for medical education.
