26 October 2023 Meeting of the Supreme Committee for Guidelines for the Specialization of Oncology and Hematology
On Thursday, October 26, Professor Mohamed Mostafa Lotayef Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, met with the Supreme Committee for Guidelines for the Specialization of Oncology and Hematology at the National Oncology Institute to discuss the work plan and draw a road map for developing guidelines for Oncology and Hematology. Prof. Dr. Hussein Khaled was chosen as Chairman of the Committee.
The committee is composed of:
• Prof. Hussein Khaled, Chairman of the Medical Studies Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities.
• Prof. Ibtisam Saad El-Din - Professor of Oncology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
• Prof. Ihab Khalil - Professor of Radiotherapy at the National Cancer Institute.
• Prof. Khaled Abdel Karim - Professor of Oncology, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.
• Prof. Rasha Fahmy - Director of the Al Salam Center, Ministry of Health.
• Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Rasha Shaltout - Medical Services Sector at the Ministry of Interior.
• Prof. Samir Shehata - Professor of Medicine, Assiut.
• Prof. Ola Mohamed Reda Khorshid - Head of the Oncology Department, National Oncology Institute, Cairo University.
• Prof. Emad Mahmoud Mohamed Hamada - Professor, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
• Prof. Omar Sharif Omar - Professor of Oncology, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
