His Excellency began his speech by introducing the Egyptian Health Council, through which Law No. 12 of 2022 was issued establishing the Egyptian Health Council as a public service body, with its main headquarters in the city of Cairo. His Excellency also clarified that the main goal of establishing the Council is to organize the fields of health in Egypt in the areas of: (Education Post-university vocational training, specialized training, qualification and development of the scientific and clinical level of doctors and workers in various health fields). His Excellency also clarified that the Council does not only address the medical sector; Rather, he began working with health specialties in the Arab Republic of Egypt (human medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, and veterinary medicine). His Excellency also presented all the activities carried out by the Egyptian Health Council, starting with the national exam for practicing health professions, as well as the Egyptian Board, where The Council grants an accredited certificate called the “Egyptian Board” to all graduates of health sector colleges after passing the training program, the standardized test for each of the health specializations subject to the provisions of this law, continuous professional development (CPD), and the accreditation of scientific, vocational training, and higher health specialty programs for the post-university education stage. And approving professional certificates for those who pass these programs in the various branches of medical health work from the relevant training bodies accredited by the Council - creating records for workers in the public and private health sectors - creating national records for diseases and medical interventions - standards for applying professional ethical charters.
