prof. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, participated in the activities celebrating the completion of the first phase of transferring technology for manufacturing biological and biological medicines to treat cancer in partnership between the Egyptian Pharmaceutical City (GEPTO Pharma) and the Swiss company Roche.
The celebration was opened by Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Development and Minister of Health and Population, in the presence of Major General Dr. Bahaa El-Din Zidan, Chairman of the Unified Purchasing, Medical Supply and Supply Authority and the Medical Technology Department, Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawi, Chairman of the Egyptian Medicines Authority and Swiss Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Dr. Amr Mamdouh, Chairman Pharmaceutical City (GEPTO Pharma).
This achievement is an important step towards achieving the goals of the Egyptian state to localize precise and distinguished industries in the field of medicine to produce this type of medicine locally, to achieve self-sufficiency.
