The Egyptian Health Council participated in the activities of the World Conference on Health, Population and Development in several activities, including:
Lectures explaining the activities of the Health Council to promote post-university medical education in all health specialties and its role in creating a healthier future and ensuring the improvement of the quality of health services within the framework of the sustainable development strategy in order to achieve Egypt’s 2030 vision.
The national examination for practicing the profession in various specialties (human medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy, veterinary medicine).
National guidelines.
Continuing professional development.
Egyptian Board.
National registries of diseases and epidemics.
National records of workers.
Professional ethics and scientific research.
The Egyptian Health Council’s pavilion was visited by His Excellency Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, and Mr. Mohamed Gibran, Minister of Labor.
Prof. Mohamed Latif also participated in a group of fruitful meetings to explain these activities. The conference was also approved by the Egyptian Health Council with (22) hours of training approved by the Egyptian Health Council for the attending doctors to benefit from in renewing their license to practice the profession.
